This is my very first posting for Daily Study.  This is a verse I need to remind myself of Daily. We tend to “fix” matters our own way before relying on the Lord first.

Worry, worry.  What option do we take with my husband’s cancer?  Our lawn mower wouldn’t start and we have 2 acres of ground to mow.  From life-threatening issues to mundane problems, how do we handle it?

Why is it we always first depend on ourselves, our own understanding, when trying to take care of a problem, instead of giving it to God from the very start and trusting Him? Turn to God first and allow the Holy Spirit to help you. He will, always!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.”
